What it does

Restricted funds
What was raised for a purpose, what has been spent against it, and what is left, as one figure rather than a reconciliation.
Membership and dues
Classes, renewal dates, lapsed states, and dues that produce a receipt stating the deductible portion.
Grant intelligence
Federal and international funding notices gathered nightly, scored against your own profile, with every claim traceable to the record it came from.
A public website
Pages, stories, media and sections that read live figures out of your own records, so a published number cannot drift from the truth.
What it will never do
Each of these is enforced by the software rather than promised by it. A test fails, or the database refuses, if any of them stops being true.
- No figure is ever invented. Where a number cannot be determined, the screen says so instead of estimating.
- No message reaches a member of the public unless a person has approved that specific rule, by name, against a preview of who it would reach.
- One organization can never see another organization's records. That is proven against the live database, by a second organization with its own sign-in, not by reasoning.
- Your data is exported and encrypted weekly, with a copy in storage that nothing (including us) can delete before its retention expires.
- Nobody working on the platform can read your records without a time-limited grant that you can see and end yourself.
